Spider Fact and Opinion Craftivity

Happy Wednesday! Most of you are counting down the days until summer vacation begin. I'm counting down the days until summer science camp begins! This means more work and more fun. I love science, so creating my own units is quite exciting. We review other topics and subjects throughout the summer as well, so it's a great time to integrate subjects. We are kicking off camp with insects and spiders, so I created this fact and opinion spider craftivity to do during Language Arts one morning. I've done a similar activity before where students had to fill the legs with just facts as I read a story, but I wanted to upgrade the activity. Click here to get a copy!

The list is shortening!

I teach year round, so that doesn't leave a lot of time to create things for my classroom in the summer! I'm getting a jump start and working to make my life easier by creating the "I can" statement sheets. I've already completed fourth grade, and now third! That's two things off the list already! Click here to check them out.

I Can

Next year I will teach a split class again, possibly a 2-4th grade class. With constant rotations in my future, I decided it's time to stop writing my learning objectives every day! I've completed my fourth grade set for math. Check it out here. Stay tuned for third grade math and other subjects too!

It's Time

Hey there! I'm a 2nd/3rd grade split teacher, and I think it's time I start blogging about my classroom! Thanks for checking my site out, and I welcome any feedback!
